The Taiwan summer program is an immersive two-week exchange to Taiwan, a country where 99% of the population has health insurance, and takes place in May or June (specific date TBA). The trip features tours of medical centers, panels with physicians and public health officers, as well as discussions with UBC and Taiwanese medical students on different healthcare systems.
