The Comparative Healthcare Systems Program is organizing our annual global health conference on Friday, March 15th, 2019 (4:00 to 8:00 pm) at the Thomson House Ballroom. This year, the conference will focus on the topic of Universal Health Coverage. This is an important and growing issue for both developed and developing countries around the world. Globally, approximately half the world's population lacks access to essential health services, and the World Health Organization estimates that 100 million individuals are still pushed into extreme poverty because of health expenses. We can't wait to bring together public health experts, students, and anyone interested in the topic to facilitate discussion!
